THE RECLUSE
The
Recluse is a project that has been in the making for a long time.
The mission: to build a multi-use 4 seat all around vehicle. We
wanted not just a sand car but a rock crawler, a desert and
adventure vehicle that would take us wherever we desired to go and
back. Thus the Recluse was born!
You can
see the extreme articulation in static test cycling. We're aiming
to keep all 4 wheels in contact with terra firma a on a 6' ledge,
it looks like we have met and surpassed the design
parameters.
The
Recluse is the first of it's kind: A family friendly, great big toy
for the dunes, desert, and big boulders. It seats four, and is
designed to go where monodesign engineered vehicles just can't.
